Other people I know have experienced the same effect: When being exposed to, say, Japan, they lose their original impressions, either good or bad, and come to respect the culture for its intrinsic merits on its own terms. On the other hand, any time spent in a Muslim country usually has outsiders progressively losing respect for Islam as a religion and becoming alarmed and worried for their own future in a country with Muslims in it. The effect is not progressive, but entirely negative. For me, again, this is based on reason and experience. I learn and see. THE POINT I’ve reasoned my way into most of my opinions. I’ve seen little living evidence and lots of counter-evidence for the conspiratoriality of Jews. I’ve seen hard and manifold evidence of the violent, savage nature of Islam in its purest forms. Where others see absolutes in Black crime and IQ, I just see statistics, and means for addressing them. Where still others see boys failing because they don’t try hard enough, I see a social order stacked hard against them by an increasingly misandrist society. Where some see a rape culture, I see little to no evidence for it – quite the opposite, in fact.
